Sabine Schönfellner

Sabine Schönfellner, born in 1987, holds a doctorate in literary studies from the University of Graz and works as a copywriter and editor. She also organizes and leads writing workshops. She lives with her family in Vienna. She received the Hans Weigel Literature Scholarship 2021/2022, the Emil Breisach Literature Prize from the Academy of Graz 2022, and the BMUKK Project Scholarship 2023/2024. Her debut novel Draußen ist weit (Outside is Far Away) was published in 2021. Her second novel Schneckenkönigin (Snail Queen) is published in 2025.
