Max Oravin

Max Oravin, born in 1984, grew up in Graz and lives as a writer and sound artist in Vienna. His audiovisual text performances have been shown at international festivals (including Meridian Czernowitz, Elevate Festival Graz) and funded with two start-up grants for literature from the Federal Chancellery (2017, 2019). From 2013-2018 he was part of Babelsprech, a network of young German-language poetry. His texts have been published both in the German-language original and in various translations in literary journals and anthologies, including Lichtungen, Jenny and Lyrik von Jetzt 3.
Toni & Toni is his debut novel.
